An innovative safety solution for roadworks
Commissioned by Traffic & More, we developed STAN (Safe Trafficworkers Application Network), a digital platform that improves safety around roadworks. The app supports the entire process: from navigating to the work zone to optimising traffic situations and increasing safety for both road workers and road users in and around the work zone.
Boydroid delivered the complete suite of mobile apps: native apps for Android and iOS, plus a dedicated version for Android Automotive. Working closely with the backend developers, we built a robust and reliable system that:
- Provides navigation to and within the work zone
- Warns in real time about dangerous situations
- Gives up-to-date safety instructions on location
- Monitors the work environment
The system processes all data anonymously, with privacy as a core value. We are proud that STAN now contributes to a safer working environment for road workers in the Netherlands.
